Episode 01/Pilot brief

The chair with one more life in it.

Good bones, a worn finish, and a little patience. The green chair is the pilot's visual direction; the build and final reveal are still to come. We'll film the repair in a short time-lapse and post the receipt after the work is done.

Time-lapse / planned cut Filmed with the build

From first sand to final coat

Each episode pairs a fast-forward build with the detail shots that explain what changed and why. The pilot clip will appear here when it's filmed.

The budget / planned allowance

An honest list beats a tidy guess.

These are planning estimates, not claimed purchases. Final amounts and receipt photos replace them after the pilot is built.

Reveal poll / pilot preview

Worth it or wasted money?

Once the chair is finished and the receipt is posted, the reveal ends with one question. Tell us how the plan looks to you so far.

The official reveal poll will run when the finished chair and receipt are published.
